Tessie Berghoff

Tessie believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship and the growth that occurs in therapy. She provides her clients with a safe space to explore and embrace their authentic selves.

She is passionate about working with adults, young adults, teenagers, and families from diverse backgrounds experiencing loss, significant life changes, anxiety, and depression. Her trauma-informed and integrative approach to therapy includes different modalities such as Internal Family Systems, Attachment theory, Somatic and Mindfulness techniques, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

She graduated with her BA in Studio Art from Santa Clara University. She received a Master’s in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco. Tessie has experience working with teenagers, providing infant-parent psychotherapy for mothers and infants, and working with women experiencing domestic violence.
