Amber is currently a graduate student in Antioch University’s Couple and Family Therapy program (COAMFTE accredited), a student intern under the supervision of Adriana Calo (LMFT), and a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
She is honored to accompany clients on their journey of self-discovery and is excited to work with couples, families, children, and individuals who are looking for a compassionate, empathetic, pragmatic approach to therapy.
As a relational and systemic therapist, she draws from and integrates a range of therapy models such as Emotionally Focused (EFT), Collaborative, and Narrative depending on the needs of her clients and always through a strengths-based and compassionate approach.
Her path to becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist is rooted in the strong belief that relationships, in many different forms, are inextricably linked to our well-being and a strong desire to help people improve their relationships with themselves and others in a way that has a generational impact beyond our lifetime.
Amber graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Public Policy and before transitioning into the mental health field, she spent over a decade working at the intersection of healthcare and technology.
